  Hello and welcome to the start of Volume 5 of your favourite airsoft magazine. Its shaping up not only to be an exciting year for Airsoft in general, but also an exciting year for you (our readers). By the time your reading this the first of the Tour of Duty games would have come and gone. I personally really do have to thank the guys at Airsoft World and in particular Frenchie for pulling out all the stops on this series of games and making them what is shaping up to be a must attend series of events. Also a big thanks and name check goes out to the series of sponsors, Revision, Enola Gaye, Viper and Soldier of Fortune. The next game is at First and Only Airsoft on the 27th and 28th of June. Also this year Ai is supporting the very first UK Airsoft Expo (see news section for details). From where I'm sitting this event has all the building blocks to make it a germinate date in the Airsoft Diary. We wish James and the event organisers at Full moon-Armouries every success and urge you guys to get along and support James as you have done with so many of our co-branded events. Talking about events and yes I know, we're a bit late with the promo for the Ai500 USA this year, it's not a case of we are not running it this year, we're simply tying everything up for what should be a kick ass event, with quite a few surprises thrown in for you our readers. Airsoft Magazine current issue Credit Crunch Everyone's seen the news, read the book and got the t-shirt. It seems that we as a country are officially in a recession, but luckily it must have overlooked our hobby as retailers are reporting a busy time and skirmish sites seem to be packed to capacity and then some.
